Your Rights as a Data Subject

As a data subject under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you are entitled to the following rights:

1. Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you. If so, you may request information regarding:

  • the purposes of processing,

  • the categories of personal data processed,

  • the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed or will be disclosed,

  • the planned storage period or the criteria used to determine that period,

  • the existence of additional data subject rights (rectification, erasure, restriction, objection),

  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority,

  • the source of your data, if it was not collected directly from you,

  • the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and meaningful information about the logic involved, the scope, and the intended effects of such processing,

  • and, where applicable, information about appropriate safeguards in the event of data transfer to third countries under Art. 46 GDPR.

2. Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
You may request the prompt correction of inaccurate or the completion of incomplete personal data stored by us.

3. Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data where one of the reasons under Art. 17(1) GDPR applies. This right does not apply if the processing is necessary for:

  • compliance with a legal obligation,

  • the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information,

  • the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

4. Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if:

  • you contest the accuracy of the data (for the duration of the verification),

  • the processing is unlawful, and you oppose erasure,

  • we no longer need the data, but you require it for legal claims,

  • or you have objected to processing, pending the outcome of the balancing of interests.

5. Right to Notification (Art. 19 GDPR)
If you have exercised your right to rectification, erasure, or restriction, we are obligated to notify all recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.

6. Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request the transfer of this data to another controller, where technically feasible.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
You may revoke any previously given consent for data processing at any time with effect for the future. Processing carried out before the withdrawal remains lawful. After withdrawal, we will delete the affected data unless further processing is permitted by another legal basis.

8. Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), provided that reasons relating to your particular situation apply.

If you object, we will stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, particularly in the EU member state of your residence, place of work, or the location of the alleged infringement.
